Rosa + Todd | Love and Starwars at Ellington Hall in Santa Rosa

Wedding

When you look for a wedding photographer it’s best to look for someone who really strives for a unique style that you connect with. I was very proud to be hired by Rosa and Todd based on my personal style. Having a couple really identify with your style makes doing my job even more fun than it already is. After chatting with them about their ideas for their vintage wedding in Santa Rosa, I knew that we had made a great choice to work with each other.

After dating for several years eventually Todd took fatherhood of Rosa’s wonderful little daughter. Finally he couple felt it was time to tie the knot! Shooting their family and Golden Gate Bridge engagement photos, I got to know them. Turns out they are freaking awesome. Actually, I have to admit that before them I had never seen Star Wars.  After that day in San Francisco and hearing was huge fans they were I finally decided to binge out on all of the films. Having awesome clients clearly have great effects on you.

There was a great mix of family, vintage, and of course, a little bit of nerdy Star Wars goodness. Their venue was located in Santa Rosa at the Ellington Hall. What was so nice about the venue was the closeness of the ceremony and the reception;. The well laid out hall made moving to each event of the wedding seamless and smooth. Not to mention, they have an amazing system set up for the dancing at night! They even had a whole room set up for kids featuring a bounce house! After all of the big parts of the reception done, the party kicked off for the rest of the night with light lasers, a fog machine, a snow machine and lots of loud music to people dancing on that floor till the night was over.

Thank you so much, Dana and Todd for letting me document your awesome day!

Pizza Pizza! Hanna and Robert at Desano’s Pizzeria!
If someone asked me specifically what drives me to shoot weddings, this wedding would be one of the reasons that would come to mind.Living in Los Angeles is a high-stress world to deal with. With the buzzing of traffic, construction, tourism and of course the occasional movie crew blocking the road, it takes a certain type of person to live here. For some, it's the place to be and they couldn't imagine anywhere else to live. For Hanna and Robert, it was an amazing stepping stone in their lives and they knew at some point, the adventure would take them somewhere else one day. So for them, making sure that their wedding photos would bring t ...

Kathy + Martin| A Classic Hollywood Wedding at the Fontana Theater
It's hard to catch a rainy day in Southern California. However, it did rain on Kathy and Martin's wedding day. That didn't stop them from having this stylish, Classic Hollywood wedding at the old school Fontana Theater. If anything the rain just made their portraits in front of the theater even more awesome. They got married, people partied, groomsmen ripped their shirts off, and all in all it was a pretty epic night. These are some of the photographs I took of this rainy, awesome celebration in Fontana.
